Our Story
No Other Game Around (NOGA) was founded on one simple belief: “when people grow, performance follows”.
After more than two decades working across sport, education, and high-performance systems from community coaching to national strategy, we saw a clear pattern.
Too often, organisations and individuals focus on outcomes first and people second.
We set out to change that.
NOGA was created to bring together the best of both worlds:

Our Founder
Led by Stephen Maxwell, a strategic sports leader, coach developer, and performance consultant with over 20 years’ experience, NOGA brings deep expertise across national sports systems, education, and business performance.
Our founder has:
Designed national player and coach development pathways recognised for alignment and inclusion
Led coach and match official education across Ireland and Australia, increasing participation and engagement
Consulted internationally with governing bodies, elite teams, and leadership groups
Researched and published work on well-being and self-care in coaching, influencing global best practice
Blending academic insight (MSc in Applied Sports Coaching, University of Limerick) with practical experience across five continents, our approach is grounded, personal, and purpose-driven.
