Frequently Asked Questions

General Questions

What does NOGA Performance Consulting do?

We help people and organisations perform at their best by aligning strategy, culture, and leadership.
Our work spans sport, business, and personal development — helping clients create environments where participation, performance, and well-being thrive together.

Where are you based, and do you work internationally?

We’re based in Dublin, Ireland, but we work with clients across Europe, Australia, and beyond through a blend of in-person and online delivery.

What makes NOGA different from other consultants or coaching providers?

Our approach combines 20+ years of experience in elite sport and leadership with evidence-based research and data-driven practice.
We don’t offer off-the-shelf programmes — we co-design unique, measurable solutions with each client, grounded in research and real-world experience.

How do you start working with new clients?

It begins with a free discovery call — a 15–30 minute conversation to understand your goals and context.
From there, we create a tailored proposal outlining the approach, timeline, and outcomes specific to your needs.

Do you work with individuals as well as organisations?

Yes. We support individuals, leaders, coaches, and athletes through one-to-one coaching designed around personal growth, performance, and well-being.

Are your programmes in person or online?

Both. We deliver workshops, coaching, and consulting on-site for teams and organisations, and virtually for individuals or international clients.

How long are your programmes or partnerships?

That depends on your needs:

  • Short-term engagements: single workshops or strategy sessions.

  • Medium-term: 3–6 month development programmes.

  • Long-term partnerships: 12+ months for strategic system change or multi-phase culture design.

What kind of results can we expect?

Our outcomes vary by project, but typically include:

  • Increased participation or engagement rates.

  • Improved leadership capability and team cohesion.

  • Stronger governance and accountability frameworks.

  • Measurable well-being and retention improvements.

We measure success using both qualitative and quantitative data to ensure impact is visible and sustainable.

For Sport Organisations, Clubs & Athletes

What sports do you work with?

We’ve worked across cricket, Gaelic games, rugby, AFL, softball, and athletics, among others.
Our frameworks apply across any sport that values inclusive pathways, people development, and sustainable performance.

Do you offer coach or official education programmes?

Yes - we design and deliver coach and match official education strategies aligned with national frameworks, focusing on inclusion, leadership, and continuous development.

Can you help us with funding and governance alignment?

Absolutely. We specialise in aligning participation and performance strategies with national funding priorities and governance structures — ensuring accountability and measurable outcomes.

Do you work directly with athletes?

Yes, particularly in areas like performance culture, transition planning, and mental well-being. We also support coaches and performance staff through targeted development programmes.

For Businesses & Organisations

How do sport principles translate into business success?

The same factors that drive elite teams — clarity, communication, and culture — drive business performance.
We use proven methodologies from high-performance sport to build leadership capability, team trust, and accountability in business environments.

What types of organisations do you work with?

We partner with corporate teams, educational institutions, NGOs, and public sector bodies that want to strengthen leadership, improve communication, or embed inclusive, high-performing cultures.

Can you design bespoke leadership programmes for our team?

Yes — all of our programmes are custom-built. We start with a diagnostic conversation, co-design the content, and deliver development experiences that reflect your people, purpose, and strategy.

Do you offer executive or leadership coaching?

Yes. We provide confidential, one-to-one coaching for executives and managers focused on clarity, confidence, and sustainable performance.

For Individuals

Who is personal coaching for?

Our coaching supports anyone seeking personal or professional growth — from athletes and coaches to business leaders or professionals at a crossroads.

What does individual coaching involve?

It’s a structured, supportive process combining reflection, goal setting, and evidence-based performance tools.
Sessions are tailored around your needs — whether that’s leadership confidence, focus, transition planning, or well-being.

How many sessions will I need?

Most clients work with us for 6–10 sessions, depending on their goals. We’ll discuss what’s right for you during your free discovery call.

Is coaching confidential?

Always. Every session is completely confidential, providing a safe space for honest reflection and growth.
